a one-eyed cat creative collective journey
Welcome to Double Vector Business and Leadership — a new series of online classes that prove work can feel like going to your favorite music concert.
The W mark, or dubleve in French, means “double V” and wasn’t original to the French alphabet! It’s an adaptation from German and English making it the weirdo dans la salle, or in the room.

leadership essentials
Why do leaders need to train to lead? Training is best for A.I. Uncover your own style by believing in yourself.
Here are my leadership credentials:
Co-led the in-house retail branding approach for the Smithsonian on and off the National Mall.
Founding director of the Rochester City Center of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA)
Joined a research project during the pandemic with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), leading the profession in a new understanding of the built environment as a NCIDQ certified professional,
Co-led the local educational arm of USGBC (United States Green Building Council) as a LEED-AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design),
Led projects and classes at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) as both a project manager & design instructor.
Mentored design students & younger designers in their approach to being their own leaders.
And if you’re wondering, my career began at the University of Cincinnati (‘99) in the DAAP program & completed my MS at Chatham University. (2018)
All of these leadership positions helped me uncover my own style of leading.
Make your own list and enhance your style through the leadership guide.
